Rex Shares and Osprey Funds debuted the first XRP and Dogecoin spot ETFs in the U.S. on Thursday—and both immediately saw ample demand.

The Rex-Osprey XRP ETF generated $37.7 million worth of trading volume on its first day, marking the best day-one performance of any new ETF listed in 2025 according to Bloomberg Senior ETF Analyst Eric Balchunas. And the Dogecoin ETF also landed in the top five for 2025 launches with $17 million in volume.

All told, Balchunas said, there had been 710 new ETFs listed so far in 2025. And there could be many more on the crypto front in the months to come, after the SEC this week approved generic listing standards for commodity-based trusts.

Dozens of crypto ETF filings currently sit in front of the regulator, so expect a wave of additional funds spanning assets far and wide by year’s end.
