📝 What you need to know
If you follow the crypto space closely, then it shouldn’t be a surprise that it’s been a rough few months for Bitcoin. And with the start of the April arriving, we now know that Bitcoin just had its worst quarter since 2018, falling 22% in that span.
The bruising quarter came amid geopolitical uncertainty thanks to the Iran war, not to mention delays with the anticipated Clarity Act crypto market structure bill, prompting some investors to sit on the sidelines rather than wade into the chaos. Analysts told Decrypt that a resolution to the war and Fed rate cuts could ease the pain for Bitcoin investors, though it remains to be seen whether either is imminent.
