There’s a new Trump-branded crypto wallet on the horizon, but the launch has only caused more confusion after the president’s own sons denied involvement.

The Trump Wallet is being developed by GetTrumpMemes—the company behind the officially licensed Trump meme coin on Solana—and major NFT marketplace Magic Eden, powered by the latter’s recently acquired crypto trading app, Slingshot.

But President Trump’s sons—Eric, Barron, and Donald Jr.—all took to X in the hours after the announcement to deny involvement or prior knowledge of the news, with Donald Jr. noting that his World Liberty Financial project is launching its own wallet.

While the Trump kids’ pushback has cast doubt on the Trump Wallet announcement, it only demonstrates how many different crypto projects the family has fingers in, and how their varying aims may clash as they expand their focus. President Trump himself has yet to weigh in on the drama, as of this writing.
