The Bitcoin treasury firm resumed its BTC buys for the first time since June, snapping up $370 million worth of the cryptocurrency for its coffers.
📝 What you need to know
Bitcoin treasury firm Strategy resumed Bitcoin buys for the first time since June, snapping up 4,603 BTC for just under $370 million. That brought its stack to 845,050 BTC, still some way short of its peak holdings of 847,363 BTC set just before it started selling.
It’s also somewhat out of pocket, having sold 6,948 BTC between May and August for about $62,250 a coin and bought back at an average of $80,318. The firm isn’t the only DAT on a buying spree, either; Tom Lee’s Bitmine bought $131 million worth of ETH last week, in its largest purchase since June.
