📝 What you need to know

Charles Schwab is reportedly jumping into prediction markets, teaming up with Cboe Global Markets, per a Wall Street Journal report. Instead of sports or politics betting, Schwab's sticking to finance: contracts letting people wager on S&P 500 performance.

Schwab is also reportedly planning a "Plus Zone" feature that pays out partial credit if your prediction is close, but not exact. This follows Schwab's earlier moves into crypto, having launched spot Bitcoin and Ethereum trading for retail users. The markets are expected to launch in the coming months, with other indexes possibly added later.

World Cup 2026: Who will perform better?
France 57%43% Spain

Why it matters
France just leapfrogged Spain as World Cup favorites at +375, after Spain's stunning scoreless draw with Cape Verde. Oddsmakers aren't too worried though—Spain dominated possession and shots, and still sits second at +550, plus remains a heavy -300 group favorite. England and the USA also climbed the board after impressive wins, with USA's title odds dropping from 60-1 to 40-1.
