Red October sinks ETFs 🌊

📝 What you need to know
Bitcoin ETFs’ October comeback lasted just a single session, with U.S. spot Bitcoin funds shedding $635.6 million Thursday in their biggest outflow of the month. The exit wiping out nearly 60% of the $1.07 billion they had taken in over the previous three days, flipping October back to a net loss of about $176 million, while Ethereum ETFs bled another $110.6 million, taking their October outflows to some $1.18 billion.
Yet prices barely moved: Bitcoin is trading around $81,700, flat on the day, even as oil climbed above $111 a barrel and AI stocks slid. With the Federal Reserve meeting on October 27-28 and traders expecting rates to hold, analysts argue that Bitcoin has settled into a wait-and-see mode, and that might not be a bad thing for the market.
