A former employee of MrBeast has been fined and suspended from trading on prediction market platform Kalshi after regulators said he placed trades tied to confidential information about an upcoming YouTube video.

Kalshi said it identified the activity, cooperated with regulators, and is reinforcing its internal controls to prevent insider-style trading on event contracts.

The company has been trying to clear its backlog of suspicious activity complaints for months.
