📝 What you need to know

Hyperliquid’s HYPE token jumped by double digits on Thursday after Intercontinental Exchange, the owner of the New York Stock Exchange, announced a deal to bring Hyperliquid-based perpetual futures to the U.S.

ICE will become the exclusive operator of regulated markets for Trade[XYZ], which runs real-world asset markets on Hyperliquid, and is taking a strategic stake in the company. The new markets still need regulatory approval and have no launch date. Investor Stan Druckenmiller, a Trade[XYZ] backer, said he looks forward to using the product, while ICE CEO Jeffrey Sprecher called it “additive to our futures markets, not a replacement for them.”

How much gold will it take to buy one Bitcoin next?
Resolves when the BTC/gold ratio hits 10 oz or 30 oz first

Why it matters
One Bitcoin buys about 20 ounces of gold, halfway between this market's targets. Traders lean toward 10 ounces at 57%, a view that firmed this week. That would require Bitcoin to lose half its value relative to gold. Both assets are falling together: gold slipped 1.1% Thursday after hot PCE data lifted December rate-hike odds to 83%, per Reuters, while BTC has slipped 2.5% over the past month.
