Standard Chartered analyst Geoff Kendrick revised the bank’s Ethereum price prediction, calling for ETH to hit $7,500 before the end of the year and $25,000 by 2028.

It’s a big swing from his March forecast that Ethereum would experience a “structural decline” in 2025 as layer-2 networks ate into the mainnet’s fees.

Kendrick pointed to treasury companies and Ethereum ETFs purchasing 3.8% of all circulating ETH since June, the US GENIUS Act clearing regulatory pathways for stablecoins, and planned network upgrades as key drivers behind the bullish revision.

"We raise our price forecasts, as the backdrop for ETH has improved dramatically in recent months," he wrote.
