In a unexpected twist, Elon Musk might soon be leaving his post at the Department of Government Efficiency.

Bitcoin jumped above $87,000 for the first time in a week and stock indices surged into the greenā€”including Muskā€™s Tesla, which just reported a 13% decline in vehicle deliveries and wrapped up its worst quarter since 2022.

At the time of writing, TSLA shares are up 5% on the day and, like Bitcoin, the highest theyā€™ve seen since last week.

But donā€™t order a goodbye sheet cake yet. This is all still unconfirmed. The rumors started because of a Politico report earlier today citing three sources close to Trump who asked not to be named.
