Short-term Bitcoin investors who bought between one and three months ago are sitting on some pretty significant losses. Will they capitulate?

If BTC from short-term holders transfers from weak to strong hands, then it could form the bottom that Bitcoin needs to continue its ascent.

“During this cycle, these phases have often been associated with the formation of a bottom,” noted pseudonymous CryptoQuant analyst DarkFrost in a Tuesday tweet. He added that once a large portion has capitulated, “that is usually when the opportunity to accumulate becomes interesting.”
