Bitcoin ETFs turn red š»
The abrupt end to a seven-day inflow streak wasn't enough to reverse the week's gains, after a record bleed from the Bitcoin funds.
š What you need to know
What goes up, must come down. Bitcoin ETFs appeared to have turned the tide with a seven-day inflow streak, but that abruptly snapped on July 23 with net outflows of $225.2 million. Blackrockās IBIT accounted for the lionās share of the exit, while Morgan Stanleyās MSBT added $5 million.
Despite the exodus, Bitcoin ETFs are still up on the week to the tune of $274 million, which tallies with Bloomberg Intelligence's Eric Balchunasā prediction of "two steps forward, one step back" for Bitcoin funds, framing the cycle as akin to gold ETFs' 22-year track record.
