Bitcoin above $70K, Ethereum near $4K

International BTC adoption talks and ETH ETF interest start the week off on an upswing.

Crypto doesn’t take weekends or national holidays off, and while Monday had traditional markets on hold, top coins Bitcoin and Ethereum were both up strong. The price of Bitcoin is over $70,000, while the price of ETH is edging toward $4,000 ($3,938 as of this writing). Legal tender talks in Argentina have fueled the former, while last week’s spot Ethereum ETF approvals continue to buoy the latter—up nearly 25% over the past seven days.

Meanwhile, spot Bitcoin ETFs have crossed a major threshold, now collectively holding more than 1 million BTC. That’s $70.5 billion in Bitcoin controlled by institutional investors—and half of that through financial giants BlackRock and Grayscale.
