A fresh wave of altcoin ETFs could be imminent, according to Bloomberg analysts, who bumped their odds of SEC approvals for spot funds based on the likes of XRP, Solana, Litecoin, and even Dogecoin to near-lock status this year.
Prospective issuers have filed for all sorts of altcoin ETFs after last yearās successful Bitcoin and Ethereum launches, not to mention President Trumpās crypto-fueled return to the White House.
Bloombergās Eric Balchunas and James Seyffartāciting SEC engagement with applicants and the existence of CFTC-regulated futures marketsāgive Solana, XRP, and Litecoin ETFs a 95% likelihood of approval this year, with Dogecoin and other prominent alts given a 90% shot of fund approvals before yearās end.
